In the first video, Gomez rocked a pair of Y2K-worthy barrettes pinning back the front ends of her flipped-up bob while outfitted in a cute white tank with black bow embellishments. But back to Gomez’s glam: Less than one hour later, she reposted a video originally shared by her longtime makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, to her Instagram Story, where she had seemingly transformed into a total bombshell in record time. In the reel, Gomez posed in the mirror as she swiped on Rare Beauty’s Kind Words matte lipstick in the aptly named shade “Devoted” which the brand positions as a “true red” hue that was also conveniently a pitch-perfect match to her faux fur chubby jacket, which the singer threw on over a silky lingerie-style slip dress.
