Selena Gomez the billionaire helps make Mental Health Day donation… six years after bipolar disorder diagnosis

Gomez, who was recently declared a billionaire, has frankly discussed her own struggles with bipolar disorder since her diagnosis in 2018. Now she is making a donation to promote mental health.

The 32-year-old singer and actress founded the Rare Impact Fund with the goal of mobilizing $100 million for organizations to increase access to youth mental health services, as well as education around the world. Rare Beauty donates one percent of its sales directly, while the fund also raises money through support from individuals, corporate partners, its community, and other philanthropic organizations. It is believed Rare Beauty's net sales in 2023 totaled at around $350 million; Selena is pictured at a New York event promoting the brand last year
