Selena Gomez Says Filming ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ Reboot Was ‘Like a Dream’

Selena Gomez said that the 'Wizards of Waverly Place' reboot has been "like a dream" for her to work on. Get the details.

In a recent sit-down interview with People, the 32-year-old singer-songwriter opened up about the process of bringing her breakout Disney Channel series back to life via a reboot slated to arrive this fall. David Henrie will lead the show alongside a cast of new characters, stepping back into his role as Justin Russo, Alex’s older brother. In one photo, Gomez and Henrie hold up their magic wands in what appears to be the same wizard’s lair from the original Disney Channel series, which ran from 2007 to 2012; in another, the pair smiles in a new kitchen setup alongside the actors playing Justin’s family: Alkaio Thiele, Janice Leann Brown, Max Matenko and Mimi Gianopulos.
