Selena Gomez reveals whether she will return to Wizards Of Waverly Place reboot after pilot cameo

The original series ran from 2007 to 2012 on the Disney Channel and made a household name out of Selena, who played a teenage girl called Alex Russo who has magic powers.

Ushering viewers back into the world of the show, Selena guest starred on the reboot's pilot episode as her old character Alex Russo from the original series Emilia Perez is a Spanish-language musical led by Karla Sofia Gascon as a cartel leader who pretends to die in order to undergo a gender transition into a woman. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival to a burst of acclaim, including a joint best actress prize for Selena, Karla and their castmates Zoe Saldana and Adriana Paz.
