Selena Gomez reveals official title of new Wizards of Waverly Place revival as she reprises her iconic role in new first look photos - 12 years after original show ended
Selena Gomez revealed the official title of the new Wizards of Waverly Place spinoff series on Tuesday.
At the ABC and Disney Upfronts event in New York City, the actress, 31, said she was 'very excited' to announce the title of the revival show — Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. According to a synopsis from Disney, the new series will follow 'an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo.' The show then follows Justin as he 'realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities — and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.'
