Selena Gomez is speaking out after landing the role of singer Linda Ronstadt in David O. Russell’s upcoming biopic

Gomez sparked speculation that she would play Ronstadt, 77, in a movie earlier this month, uploading an Instagram Story photo of herself reading the singer’s 2013 memoir, Feels Like Home.
