Selena Gomez and Gracie Abrams Wait by the Phone on New Single ‘Call Me When You Break Up’
Selena Gomez and Gracie Abrams share 'Call Me When You Break Up' from Gomez's upcoming album with Benny Blanco, 'I Said I Love You First.'
“Call Me When You Break Up” opens with a voicemail tone, but not in the traditional sense of R&B stars singing over lovelorn recordings from their answering machine. “Call me when you break up/I’m battling the lack of us, I look for medication/Tried every obvious replacement/In bars and strangers’ beds until my faith was in the basement,” Gracie admits on her verse. I was maybe just nervous with jitters in the beginning, and then slowly but surely it was happening and it sort of fell into place with a lot of hard work and love,” Gomez told Interview.
