Secuoya Studios & ‘The Castaways’ Producer BlackBox Multimedia Ink First-Look Development & Production Deal
It marks Secuoya's first move into the UK. The two companies will co-produce premium content for the UK and Spain from Secuoya's Madrid Content City.
Under the deal, the two companies will join forces to co-produce premium series for the UK and Spanish markets at Secuoya Group’s facilities Madrid Content City in Tres Cantos, Spain. The move marks the first time the Spanish studio is entering the UK market and is part of Secuoya Group’s larger strategy to produce more English-language content. London-based BlackBox Multimedia, which was founded by former Lionsgate UK COO Guy Avshalom, has developed and co-produced a raft of Paramount+ shows such as thriller series The Ex-Wife, Sheridan Smith starrer The Castaways and The Serial Killer’s Wife.
