Sebastian Stan Wins Golden Globe for ‘A Different Man’: ‘Our Ignorance and Discomfort Around Disability and Disfigurement Has to End Now’
Sebastian Stan has won his first Golden Globe, winning best actor in a motion picture musical or comedy for his performance in 'A Different Man.'
Sebastian Stan has won his first Golden Globe, taking home the trophy for best actor in a musical or comedy for “ A Different Man.” In director Aaron Schimberg’s “A Different Man,” Stan plays Edward, an aspiring actor with neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition that causes tumors to grow on the skin and bone. Stan is one of three double acting nominees at this year’s awards, joined by Selena Gomez for “Emilia Pérez” and “Only Murders in the Building,” as well as Kate Winslet with “Lee” and “The Regime.” He’d previously been nominated for portraying Tommy Lee (opposite Lily James as Pamela Anderson) in the Hulu series “Pam & Tommy.”
