Sean Kingston Awaiting Release From Prison After Posting $100,000 Bond

Sean Kingston will now be on house detention before his sentencing date in July.

The agreement stated if the “Beautiful Girls” singer paid the bond, he could spend the months leading up to his July 11 sentencing date at home. He would be heavily monitored and wouldn’t be allowed to travel, but Sean briefly remained in custody in Miami after failing to pay the aforementioned sum, according a filing obtained by Billboard. As previously reported, Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, were convicted on all five charges following a five-day trial related to more than $1 million in wire fraud.
