Trump held what amounted to an impromptu press conference on the Oval Office on Tuesday evening, as he signed a series of executive orders, including those to end birthright citizenship, extending the time that TikTok has to comply with a divest-or-be-banned law, and declaring a national emergency at the southern border. Trump also announced pardons and commutations for more than 1,500 individuals involved in storming the Capitol on January 6, 2021, including those who were convicted of assaulting and attacking police officers. Trump has been a frequent guest on Hannity’s show and participated in a September town hall event during the presidential campaign.
