Sean Combs’ Lawyer Abruptly Quits Sex Trafficking Case


One of Sean "Diddy" Combs' attorneys Anthony Ricco filed a motion to be removed from the mogul's sex trafficking and racketeering case

“Under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel for Sean Combs, consistent with the ABA Standards for Criminal Justice," Anthony Ricco wrote Harlem-born Ricco has earned a prolific reputation for taking on 45 federal death penalty cases, representing more than a dozen clients in New York alone before the state declared the practice unconstitutional in 2004. Although Ricco had not worked with Combs before, he previously represented former Bad Boy artist G. Dep, who confessed to a two decade-old shooting after he learned the victim had died.
