Sean 'Diddy' Combs Proposes $50 Million Bail Package With New Conditions

Sean 'Diddy' Combs and his legal team proposed a new $50 million bail package as he awaits his May 2025 trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges

According to the Associated Press, Diddy, 54, filed a new request on Friday, November 8, claiming that because of changed circumstances and new evidence, he should be allowed to prepare for his May 2025 trial from outside of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he has been behind bars since his September arrest. In the filing, Diddy’s lawyers proposed a “far more robust” bail package, complete with around-the-clock security monitoring, home detention and restrictions on his ability to contact anyone, save for his legal team. In the wake of the case, several individuals came forward with sexual assault lawsuits of their own against the rapper, eventually leading Homeland Security to raid Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles in connection to a sex trafficking investigation.
