Sean 'Diddy' Combs Loses Bid to Delay Sex Trafficking Trial

Combs' trial is slated to begin with juror selection on May 5.

Combs, who is facing sex trafficking and racketeering charges, appeared in Manhattan federal court in front of U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian on Friday, April 18. Subramanian told Combs and his legal team he thought it "unclear why there isn't sufficient time to prepare," CNN reported. On April 17, Subramanian also granted a request to admit Brian Steel, who previously represented rapper Young Thug in a high-profile Georgia RICO case, to Combs' legal team.
