Lima Dehne, whose credits include hit German series Maxton Hall, said that given the tight turnaround, she quickly put together a mini writers’ room to brainstorm ideas. The as-yet-untitled movie will follow a fictional group played by the real-life German boy band, whose members are: Bene Schulz, Jacob Rott, Julien Brown, Luis Freitag, and Tim Schaecker. “I brought in two writers whom I adore and I work really well with, and we were just viewing ideas for these five pitches so that The Elevator Boys, ultimately, could pick one to develop into a movie,” Lima Dehne explained.
