Scowl Are Super Pissed on Their Next LP, ‘Are We All Angels’

Scowl previewed their debut LP 'We Are All Angels,' out April 4, with new single 'Not Hell, Not Heaven.'

And luckily for folks who currently may also be pissed ( for reasons), the Santa Cruz band will be dropping their rage-laced debut LP, We Are All Angels, on April 4th via Dead Oceans. “It’s personal in a lot of ways — but it’s also pretty fucking pissed,” Moss tells Rolling Stone of the new record, which was produced by Will Yip ( Turnstile, Title Fight, Mannequin Pussy). “I just wish I could sit down and have a conversation with myself and with any young woman who’s facing that kind of internalized gaslighting that’s been created because of these systems — because our government favors the white man, because the men in our lives have been extremely controlling and manipulative and abusive,” Moss says.
