Scott Rudin Sets Broadway Return With Barry Diller-Backed Play ‘Little Bear Ridge Road’

Scott Rudin will return to producing on Broadway with Barry Diller-backed play "Little Bear Ridge Road."

“Little Bear Ridge Road” is set on the outskirts of a small Idaho town and follows an aunt and her long-estranged nephew as they find themselves with a crumbling house to sell. Oscar-nominee Laurie Metcalf and Micah Stock, who played the same roles at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, will star in the production with direction by Joe Mantello. Rudin has signaled that he wanted to get back in the game after stepping back following a bombshell 2021 story in the Hollywood Reporter that detailed the allegations of abuse and bullying, including alleged instances where Rudin threw a stapler and baked potato at employees and smashed a computer monitor on the hand of an assistant.
