Scott Porter Would “Love To Stop By” Peacock’s ‘Friday Night Lights’ Reboot “Only If It Serves The Story”

Scott Porter is open to returning to the 'Friday Night Lights' reboot, he told Deadline during press for his Netflix series 'Ginny & Georgia' Season 3

Porter played a prominent role in the first three seasons of Friday Night Lights as Jason Street, the former star quarterback of the Dillon Panthers who is shockingly paralyzed during a football game in the pilot episode. After years of trying to make it work in Dillon, including a stint as an assistant coach for the Panthers, Jason realizes his life is leading him elsewhere and moves to New York City to pursue a career as a sports agent. I trust Pete Berg and Jason Katims and everyone involved that this next chapter of Friday Night Lights is going to be just as special, if not more than what we were able to do,” Porter added.
