Scott Foley To Lead Netflix Rom-Com ‘La Dolce Villa’ From ‘Mean Girls’ Helmer Mark Waters

Netflix rom-com 'La Dolce Villa' has set Scott Foley as its lead, with Violante Placido and Maia Reficco co-starring.

Best known for roles on shows like Scandal, Scrubs, Whiskey Cavalier and The Big Leap, Foley will next be seen on the Max political drama series The Girls on the Bus. Previously appearing in the Netflix pic Do Revenge and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Reficco will soon be seen in the indies One Fast Move and A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow, among other projects. In addition to the original Mean Girls, directing credits for Waters include Mr. Popper’s Penguins, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Just Like Heaven, and Freaky Friday, to name just a few.
