Scary Movie is back! Franchise will be rebooted 11 years after Scary Movie 5 was released
Scary Movie is being rebooted, 11 years after the last film - Scream 5 - was released in theaters.
The film starred Carmen Electra, Shannon Elizabeth, Anna Faris, Jon Abrahams, Reginal Hall and Kurt Fuller - in addition to Marlon and Shawn. Scary Movie 2 was released on July 4, 2001, with Marlon, Shawn, Anna, and Regina joined by castmates Tori Spelling, Andy Richter, Natasha Lyonne and Chris Elliott. The third film - Scary Movie 3 - was released on October 24, 2003, with Anna and Regina returning, alongside Charlie Sheen, Simone Rex, Leslie Nielson, Queen Latifah, Pamela Anderson, Kevin Hart and more.
