Scarlett Johansson Slams AI Video of Celebrities Fighting Kanye West’s Antisemitism: ‘We Must Call Out the Misuse of AI, No Matter Its Messaging’
Scarlett Johansson's likeness was used in an AI-created video condemning Kanye West's antisemitism.
An AI version of Johansson begins the clip, which features her and the likes of Jack Black, Mila Kunis, Drake, Steven Spielberg and more wearing shirts with the Star of David and the name “Kanye” on it. Johansson concluded by writing: “I urge the U.S. government to make the passing of legislation limiting AI use a top priority; it is a bipartisan issue that enormously affects the immediate future of humanity at large.” As the Black Widow actor and “Marriage Story” Oscar nominee noted herself, she has been a “public victim” of AI and has spent the last two years fighting back against the recreation of her likeness.
