Scarlett Johansson Slams ‘Misuse of AI’ in Deepfake Video About Kanye’s Antisemitism

Scarlett Johansson criticized the 'misuse of AI' in an AI-generated video featuring deepfake celebrities calling out Kanye West's antisemitism.

Along with Johansson, the video features deepfakes of Drake, Jerry Seinfeld, Steven Spielberg, Mark Zuckerberg, Adam Sandler, Simon and Garfunkel, Lisa Kudrow, and Woody Allen. Johansson, for her part, also noted the other times she was “a very public victim of AI.” That includes an incident last year where OpenAI appeared to use a voice similar to hers for ChatGPT 4.0. I urge the U.S. government to make the passing of legislation limiting AI use a top priority; it is a bipartisan issue that enormously affects the immediate future of humanity at large.”
