Scarlett Johansson On Filming ‘The Avengers’: “It Just Felt Like A Big Mess”


Scarlett Johansson is looking back on filming The Avengers and said it initially "felt like a big mess."

Johansson made her MCU debut as Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) in 2010’s Iron Man 2 before starring in 2012’s The Avengers. Johansson questioned the process and didn’t “think anybody knew if it was going to work or not besides Kevin Feige and Joss Whedon,” adding, “The cast had blind faith in them.” However, it finally clicked for Johansson that The Avengers could be a hit after filming the iconic scene where the camera spins around the superheroes together.
