Say Nothing viewers all say the same thing as they're stunned by new show

Disney+ viewers rushed to watch new show Say Nothing - and they're all saying the same thing about the drama that is based on the real life abduction and murder of Jean McConville in 1972

Based on the real-life abduction and murder of Jean McConville in 1972, Say Nothing delves into the story of the Northern Irish mother-of-ten who was accused by the IRA of being an informant for the British and subsequently became one of the Troubles' "disappeared". One fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, claimed that Say Nothing "exceeds all expectations - an engrossing, gorgeously textured, blisteringly tense account of the Troubles in Northern Ireland; finely acted, beautifully shot, with much to say about the passion and cost of radical politics. The series tells the story of various Irish Republican Army (IRA) members and explores the extremes some people will go to for their beliefs, the way a deeply divided society can suddenly tip over into armed conflict, the long shadow of radical violence for all affected, and the emotional and psychological costs of a code of silence.
