Savannah Guthrie's son Charley, 7, adorably FaceTimed his mom on-air to watch the U.S. Navy Band perform on 'Today.'
On Thursday, May 23, the journalist, 52, had a special guest FaceTime in as the U.S. Navy band performed on Today. As footage of the band playing was streamed into the studio, co-host Hoda Kotb shared that the show had a surprise, virtual visit from Guthrie's 7-year-old son Charley. Elsewhere in her conversation with PEOPLE, Guthrie reflected on how "there were times when I didn't think there was much hope for me," but highlighted how parenthood has left her feeling "so lucky."
