Savannah Guthrie’s Faith-Based Children’s Book Hits Number One on the Charts

Guthrie says she wanted to write an uplifting book that could remind children of “how very cherished they are.” In turn, she says she hopes young readers can then “share that same love by being kind and compassionate to others.” As the publisher notes read, the book shares “hard-won wisdom forged from mountaintop triumphs, crushing failures, and even the mundane moments of day-to-day living.” The goal: “to inspire you to venture down a path of faith that is authentic, hopeful, destiny-shaping, and ultimately life-changing.” Guthrie is currently the co-anchor of The Today Show, alongside Craig Melvin, who replaced Hoda Kotb, after the latter announced that she was stepping down to spend more time with her daughters.
