MBC Studios is set for a high-end adaptation of horror novel 'Traveler’s Hell' as part of broader deal with bestselling author Osamah Almuslim.
Hana Al Omair, who directed Netflix’s first Saudi original series “Whispers,” joined MBC earlier this year as creative director at the studios. “I am absolutely delighted to collaborate with Osamah Almuslim, whose broad popularity across the Arab world presents both an exciting opportunity and a challenge,” said Al-Omair in a statement. Commented Almuslim: “I am delighted about this partnership with MBC Group, which will mark the start of a series of projects exploring the extensive world I have built over the past decade.”
