Saturday Kitchen fans fume as live show is pulled off air
BBC viewers were left fuming as the live edition of the popular weekend show Saturday Kitchen was replaced by a highlights episode in a schedule shake-up
Earlier on Saturday, even BBC Breakfast saw shorter airtime as hosts Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty had to step aside for the Olympic swimming events. Instead of the usual live cooking, Saturday Kitchen aired Tastiest Treats, a montage of standout recipes from previous shows featuring celebrity chefs like Gennaro Contaldo, Nisha Katona, and Yotam Ottolenghi. Fans eager to catch Matt's next live show might have to hold their horses until after the Olympics wrap up on Sunday, 11 August, as the BBC will be airing the Games.
