Sarah Timlick has joined Amazon MGM Studios as Head of Theatrical Distribution – Canada
This would mark the streamer and motion picture studio’s first hire in their planned international film distribution division. Timlick will begin overseeing the Canadian distribution of those Amazon MGM titles being released later this year. Some theatrical titles on the horizon for the studio include A Working Man(March 28), The Accountant 2(April 25, which is also making its world premiere at SXSW this weekend), the Luca Guadagnino directed Julia Roberts-Andrew Garfield thriller After the Hunt(Oct. 10), and the Timur Bekmambetov directed, Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson starring sci-fi movie, Mercy(Jan. 23, 26).
