Sarah Silverman Sets Netflix Comedy Special ‘Postmortem,’ About the Death of Her Parents

Sarah Silverman has announced a new stand-up comedy special for Netflix. Titled 'Postmortem,' it will debut in May.

The logline reads, “Following the recent death of both of her parents, comedian Sarah Silverman finds comedy in the darkest corners of life. She hilariously navigates the absurdities of death with her signature wit, from unexpectedly finding the ‘deal of a lifetime’ while planning their funerals to cherishing the bittersweet experience of hearing her mother’s last words.” Silverman also has plenty of film and TV credits under her belt, including “School of Rock,” “Take This Waltz,” “A Million Ways to Die in the West,” “Wreck-It Ralph” and “Maestro.”
