When Suits was on the air, Rafferty and her family lived a bicoastal lifestyle between Los Angeles and Toronto (where the legal drama was filmed). In a 2016 interview with Univision, when Oona was 8 years old, Rafferty explained that she was teaching her elder daughter the importance of “being true to herself and knowing she can talk to us about absolutely anything.” In the same interview, Rafferty revealed that both Oona and Iris loved coming to the Suits set with her, saying their favorite things to do were visit the craft services truck, the hair and makeup trailer and attend fittings.
