In a sit-down with Us Weekly, Sarah Michelle Gellar, joined by Alyson Hannigan, said she knows “a few” children of original “Buffy” cast members who auditioned for the Hulu reboot. Plot details remain under wraps, but sources have previously shared that the pilot will follow a new slayer with Gellar starring in a recurring role as Buffy. “From the moment I saw Ryan’s audition, I knew there was only one girl that I wanted by my side,” Gellar said of Armstrong’s casting.
