Sarah Michelle Gellar Remains Mum On ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ & ‘Ready Or Not’ Sequels: “Can’t Even Tell You My Character’s Name”

Despite not returning for the I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel, Sarah Michelle Gellar knows more about it than husband/star Freddie Prinze Jr.

Writer-director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson ‘s IKWYDLS follows new faces who are confronted with blackmail — and murder — after their crime from the past summer comes back to haunt them. Stars Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt reprise their characters alongside newcomers Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Haur-King, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Austin Nichols and Gabbriette. Elsewhere on the program, Gellar discussed her wrapping of another sequel treatment in Ready or Not: Here I Come, the followup to the 2019 horror comedy starring Samara Weaving, which she just finished filming in Toronto.
