James Wilkie Broderick, 22, will guest star in an upcoming episode of Elsbeth, the anthology crime series, where he’ll share the screen with none other than his Tony-winning father, CBS announced on Monday. Matthew, 62, will play Lawrence Grey, a wealthy and ruthless prep school consultant who uses his connections to get Manhattan's elite kids into Ivy League schools—no matter the cost, even murder. A spinoff of The Good Wife, the show stars Carrie Preston as the title character, a former attorney turned de facto detective who uses her quirky, unconventional methods to assist the NYPD in solving crime.
