Sarah Hyland faces lawsuit from ex-manager who says Modern Family actress stiffed him on earnings

Richard Konigsberg said he was essential to helping Hyland, 33, land the role of Haley Dunphy on the ABC series Modern Family from 2009-2020.

Konigsberg said he and the actress - who has also appeared in the 2022 comedy My Fake Boyfriend and on the Peacock series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin- had in place a longstanding agreement in which he collected 10 percent of what she earned. Hyland agreed to pay Konigsberg 10 percent of her earning for her work in an off-Broadway rendition of Little Shop of Horrors playing the part of Audrey, who actress Ellen Greene portrayed in the 1986 film. Hyland and spouse Wells Adams, 40, who celebrate their two-year wedding anniversary last month, were pictured at a golf event in Toluca Lake, California this past April
