Saquon Barkley shared why Taylor Swift's fans should cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles over the Chiefs during Super Bowl LIX
Swift, 35, has become one of the Chiefs’ biggest supporters since she began dating tight end Travis Kelce in 2023, but she grew up an Eagles fan in her hometown of West Reading, Pennsylvania, which is about an hour outside of Philly. During a November 2023 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce ’s “New Heights” podcast, Travis, 35, revealed he “persuaded” Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift, to sport a Chiefs lanyard at an Eras Tour concert in Argentina. While Jason — who played center for the Philadelphia Eagles — will be rooting for both teams, Joe DeCamara bet the former athlete $100 to hug Taylor and shout “Go Birds” if Barkley scores a touchdown on Sunday.
