Saoirse Ronan looks smart as she is seen for the first time at a London Q&A for Blitz after female violence remark on The Graham Norton Show


Saoirse Ronan cut a smart figure in a blue shirt as she attended a Q&A for her new film Blitz during a BAFTA film preview in London on Monday evening.

The Brooklyn actress set social media alight during the interview on Friday, as she appeared on the talk show alongside an otherwise all-male panel - which included actors Denzel Washington, Paul Mescal and Eddie Redmayne. Redmayne, explained that amid his training for The Day of the Jackal, an upcoming Peacock miniseries, he received instruction as how to use a phone to retaliate in the event of an attack. Blitz, written and directed by Steven McQueen, 'follow the stories of a group of Londoners during the events of the British capital bombing in World War II,' a logline for the film reads.
