Santigold Announces New Shows After Canceling Entire Tour in 2022

On Tuesday, Santigold announced shows for 2024, two years after canceling her entire tour due to the lack of support for artists in a new landscape.

On Tuesday, the musician announced that she’ll be hitting the road for several, sparsed-out shows through June, August, and October this year after she canceled her Holified Tour in 2022, citing artist welfare and the mental-health and economic challenges plaguing those who make music for a living. She’ll also stop at New York’s Terminal 5 and Toronto’s Rebel in August, before resuming her tour in October with shows in Portland and Vancouver. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2022, she discussed how unsustainable it has been for musicians to make a living with the current music business model, where artists are burning out, and touring can cost them more than they can bring in.
