Sandra Hüller, Colman Domingo to Star in Goran Stolevski’s Satirical Drama ‘True-ish,’ Set to Launch at Cannes Market (EXCLUSIVE)
Sandra Hüller and Colman Domingo are set to star Goran Stolevski’s 'True-ish,' whose pre-sales will be launched the upcoming Cannes market.
“A toxic build-up of stress, alcohol and miscommunication leads to her relocation to the Balkans for a job that sounds noble — director of outreach at a ‘peace lab’ — but in reality involves generating fake news to target political regimes on the fringes of the EU,” the film’s synopsis reads. Ceyton and Jennings called Goran “one of Australia’s most exciting filmmaking voices,” adding: “We’re honored to see us collaborating for a fourth time, together with such a powerhouse cast, to deliver a film that’s as poignant and relevant as it is deeply moving and wildly humorous.” Hüller, represented by UTA and Agentur Schneider, recently wrapped shooting “Project Hail Mary” alongside Ryan Gosling and the untitled Alejandro Iñárritu film starring Tom Cruise.
