Samuel Goldwyn Films Acquires ‘The Count Of Monte Cristo’ Ahead Of Cannes Premiere
A new 'The Count of Monte Cristo' film has been acquired by Samuel Goldwyn Films ahead of its premiere out of Competition at Cannes.
Pic is directed Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière, who previously scripted two-part Dumas adaptation The Three Musketeers. Now rich beyond his dreams, he assumes the identity of the Count of Monte-Cristo and exacts his revenge on the three men who betrayed him. Anaïs Demoustier, Laurent Lafitte, Anamaria Vartolomei and Bastien Bouillon also star.
