Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott ’s relationship reportedly ‘didn’t recover’ after she admitted to being unfaithful to him while taking part in The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019. On New Year’s Day is was reported by the MailOnline that the pair had gone their separate ways, and now, a source has claimed to the publication that Sam’s family, including sister Louise, struggled to forgive Zara for the X Factor incident. The star later took to Instagram to confess to the cheating claims, in which she branded her actions “hugely selfish and immature.” The couple had been dating for around 16 months when Sam discovered what had happened.
