Chelsea alum Sam Thompson, 31 and former Love Island star Zara McDermott, 27, are reportedly having ‘relationship crisis talks’ after she moved out following a blazing row. A few days after the alleged falling out, Sam was seen in tears at the TRIC Awards, while best pal and TOWIE star Pete Wicks held and consoled him.

After, Zara headed off to Majorca for a modelling job, but has since returned home, according to the source, who says the couple are “trying to iron out their differences and have crisis talks.” They claim the pair ‘really want to make the relationship work’. The pair started dating in 2019, although they briefly split when Zara cheated on Sam with a music label boss she met during her time on X Factor: Celebrity, where she formed a band with fellow Love Island contestants, Samira Mighty, Eyal Booker and Wes Nelson.
