Sam Raimi’s ‘Send Help,’ James L. Brooks’ ‘Ella McCay’ Get Release Dates as Disney Moves ‘Elio’ Back a Week
Disney announced release dates for Sam Raimi's 'Send Help' and James L. Brooks' 'Ella McCay' while pushing the debut of 'Elio.'
Disney pushed the opening of “Elio,” the studio’s upcoming Pixar film, by a week, while unveiling the release dates of Sam Raimi ‘s “Send Help” and James L. Brooks ‘ “Ella McCay.” That means it will no longer go head-to-head with Universal and DreamWorks’ live-action remake of “How to Train Your Dragon.” In its new date, it will face off against Sony’s “28 Years Later,” a zombie thriller that is pitched at older audiences. It stars Emma Mackey as the title character, with an ensemble that includes Woody Harrelson, Ayo Edebiri, Kumail Nanjiani, Jack Lowden, Rebecca Hall, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Albert Brooks.
