Sam Moore: Steven Van Zandt, Jon Bon Jovi and More Pay Tribute to Soul Legend

Following the death of Sam Moore, many of the artists inspired by the Sam and Dave singer turned to social media to pay tribute to the soul legend.

Nile Rodgers, Isaac Hayes' estate and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame also remember the Sam and Dave singer “Sam Moore helped bring the sounds of the Black gospel church to pop music,” the Rock Hall wrote Friday. Following Sam & Dave, Moore added his unmistakable tenor vocal to recordings by the likes of Don Henley, Lou Reed, and Bruce Springsteen.”
