Salt-N-Pepa Makes History As The First Female Rap Act To Have Their Own Action Figures


Created by Super7, the customized toys features the iconic group dressed in their outfits from their classic song ‘Push It.’

Capturing them in their outfits from the music video for “Push It”, the figures showcase their classic asymmetrical hairstyles, door knocker earrings, red boots, black bodysuits, and leather jackets. Formed in 1985, Salt-N-Pepa released their debut album, Hot, Cool & Vicious(1986), which sold more than 1 million copies and they became the first female rap act to achieve gold and platinum status. In 1993, they dropped their album Very Necessary, which eventually sold more than 7 million copies worldwide with hit singles "Shoop" and "Whatta Man" with En Vogue.
