Giii spoiled the hype-ridden reaction by going on: “If Talk to Me was the warm-up, Bring Her Back could be the real haunting.” This ridiculously captures the mood-the idea of oscar-nominated dramatic actress diving into horror has everybody’s interest. Official K6 kept it very straightforward, yet effective: “‘Talk to Me’ was wild, can’t wait to see what you all do next.” That seductively terrifying horror from 2023 left its mark, and this sequel is bound to be one of the genre films most awaited in the year. Hawkins is a diverse actor as far as cheerful (Paddington) goes to gut-wrenching (The Shape of Water), so seeing horror as an outlet feels like uncharted territory we didn’t know we needed.
