On July 20, the SAG-AFTRA (the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) national board granted Crabtree-Ireland the authority to call for a strike against video game companies if a deal is not reached. “We are steadfast in our commitment to our membership who work this contract and whose extraordinary performances are the heart and soul of the world’s most popular video games,” Crabtree-Ireland said in a press statement.
