SAG-AFTRA Releases Statement About Fake Explicit Taylor Swift Images

SAG-AFTRA spoke out against the AI-generated explicit images of Taylor Swift that appeared on social media in January 2024

“The sexually explicit, A.I.-generated images depicting Taylor Swift are upsetting, harmful, and deeply concerning,” the union said in a statement on Friday, January 26. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella addressed the “alarming and terrible” images of Swift and shared that action needs to be taken immediately to keep people safe. Taylor Swift started writing songs about love and breakups in the early 2000s, but her talent was soon recognized by music executives who knew she was the real deal.
