SAG Awards 2024 Nominations: ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ Tie for Films, ‘Succession’ Leads All With Five Nods

The noms were announced live on Instagram by Emmy nominees Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae just three days after Hollywood gathered for the Golden Globe Awards. Since its inception in 1995, only four movies have won best picture at the Oscars without receiving a nom from SAG for cast ensemble: “Braveheart” (1995), “The Shape of Water” (2017), “Green Book” (2018) and “Nomadland” (2020). The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony will stream live globally on Netflix for the first time this year as part of their multi-year deal.
