Sacha Baron Cohen Responds to Rebel Wilson's Memoir Claims
Sacha Baron Cohen released a statement through a representative after Rebel Wilson named him as the 'massive asshole' she writes about in her book
“While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby,” a rep for Cohen told Us Weekly on Monday, March 25. The New York Times and the New Yorker first published investigative pieces in 2017 that accused disgruntled movie producer Harvey Weinstein of decades of sexual assault and harassment. Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen‘s chance meeting at a 2002 event in Australia led to a lifetime of happiness for the pair.
